Der Name war Programm: Unter dem Motto „The Bright World of Metals“ sind am Samstag die vier internationalen Technologiemessen GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS und NEWCAST erfolgreich zu Ende gegangen. Über 1.700 Unternehmen, Verbände und Forschungseinrichtungen präsentierten in Düsseldorf das Neueste aus den Bereichen Gießereitechnologie, Gussprodukte, Metallurgie und Thermoprozesstechnik. Wichtigster Trend auf allen vier Messen war das Thema Energie-Effizienz.
