Outokumpu Stainless contracts Tenova Core for stainless bar furnaces

Tenova Core has been contracted by Outokumpu Stainless, Inc., Richburg, SC, to provide two tip-up type Heat Treating Furnaces for the processing of high quality stainless bar products. The energy efficient tip-up furnaces are equipped with a state-of-the-art combustion system that provides superior temperature uniformity. In addition to the furnaces, Tenova Core will design and supply a water quench as well as a gantry charging crane and product cooling tables. Tenova Core will also design and supply an advanced process control system. Start-up is scheduled for the second quarter of 2013.
