Once again singled out as Best Managed Company

For the second consecutive year welding robot integrator Valk Welding of Alblasserdam has been singled out by Deloitte as one of the best managed companies in the medium-sized and large company sector in the Netherlands. The qualification forms part of Deloittes 'Best Managed Companies programme. Deloitte organised the Best Managed Companies programme this year for the fifth time. Deloitte evaluated the strategy, the operational management and the results of a total of 152 unlisted Dutch companies for this purpose. An independent jury ultimately selected 72 companies that can bear the title Best Managed Company for a year.

Valk Welding stood out for the strong market position the company has managed to build up in various European countries by developing and installing innovative welding robot solutions. CEO Remco H. Valk is thus setting out to further extend the knowledge of welding robotisation built up over the years to the other European countries. Remco H. Valk: That will make us less dependent on Dutch and Belgian industry alone. The Best Managed Companies programme underlines the success of our strategy. The feedback on our operational management from Deloitte also gives us more pointers for the future. In the coming year we'll be continuing to focus on the development of customer-specific software in order to further increase the flexibility of robot deployment in welding production. When making its assessment the jury looked not only at the companys profitably and financial structure but also at the internal organisation, social policy, service orientation and marketing strategy.
