Automazioni Industriali Capitanio is a global system integrator dedicated to the steel industry. Since 1975, AIC has been designing, manufacturing and commissioning electrical and automation systems, specializing in long products including bar, wire rod, sections and rail rolling mills. AIC provides power control, automation, safety and HMI systems including basic and detailed engineering, AC and DC drives, PLC and SCADA for complete level 0, 1 and 2 automation and electrical turnkey plants. Main applications include CCM, reheating furnaces handling and combustion control, mill control including speed, cascade, loop and tension control, shears, rod lines and finishing areas. AIC is the only european representative for QMOS, nr.1 software production in North America steel industry developped by Quad Infotech (fully integrated end to end solution from sales order entry to shipping of finished goods).
