INFUSER CLIMATIC extracts amines and BTEX from foundry air
Patented atmospheric-photochemical air-purification technology
In cooperation with the Center for Atmospheric Research at the University of Copenhagen, Infuser has devised a series of solutions for cleaning exhaust air and waste water and reducing contamination by up to 100%, using an original, patented method. For example, CLIMATIC systems can be deployed in foundries to extract the amines and BTEX produced in core making from the exhaust air occurring in moulding system production.
Effective, economic and ecologically efficient air purification
The purification technology employed in the CLIMATIC system accelerates by a hundred thousand times the natural cleaning process of the earth's atmosphere in a compact reactor. The atmospheric-photo¬chemical procedure requires considerably less energy than conventional methods, as its operation is based on natural chemical reactions. The air stream does not have to be forced at high pressure through static filters, which results in a considerable energy saving.

Standalone use or upstream solution
The CLIMATIC system is designed as a series of modules, which gives it several practical advantages. Each module performs a particular function in the overall cleaning process. The contaminated air passes through each of the modules, where it is exposed to water vapour, atmospheric reagents at various stages, and ultraviolet radiation (sunlight). The accumulated pollutant particles are trapped and removed by means of an electrostatic filter and catalyst.
The individual modules are configured in accordance with the customer's requirements, depending on the type of emission control he needs. The system can completely replace a conventional filter and purification stage, or it can also be installed upstream, ahead of the existing filtration system, to enhance its overall cleaning performance and reduce the running costs of the existing filtering equipment (active carbon, scrubbers, etc.).
In addition to its powerful cleaning ability, the system offers a number of cost advantages compared with conventional solutions. The CLIMATIC system's controller measures the concentration of pollution in the air and modifies the cleaning performance accordingly, which significantly reduces energy and, in turn, general running costs, in comparison with other systems.
INFUSER offers interested companies mobile test facilities to enable them to examine the system's cleaning capability for their specific requirements during ongoing operation; when performing at its optimum level, the CLIMATIC system economically cleans the air of just about all organic substances, with very few exceptions.
