We would like to cordially welcome you to our fourth up!date for GIFA! There are still almost eight weeks to go to your trade fair participation. Today we would like to remind you about the order deadlines for important services, for example waste disposal. Please remember that a late charge of 35 % will be assessed for orders received after 22 May 2019.

You will find all topics and dates that are essential to the planning of your trade fair participation here in up!date 04.

Please also attentively read the legal regulations – so you can take the necessary precautions in good time.

Exhibitor Pass: Your Ticket to Local Public Transport

Your exhibitor pass allows you to ride with busses, metro and trains (2nd class) in the Rhine-Ruhr linked transport system (VRR), price level D, south region, to and from the trade fair, free of charge. Please be sure to order any additional exhibitor passes by 10 June 2019.

WiFi

Go for high-performance & safe access: book your wireless Internet access direct, only from Messe Düsseldorf. There is only one official WiFi supplier – our partner Deutsche Telekom. The new “Business-HOTSPOT” products offer you all possibilities. Please note: operating your own Access Points / WiFi routers at the Exhibition Centre is not permitted. Installation of this kind by exhibitors or third parties is not authorised by Messe Düsseldorf.

Optimum performance, of course, depends on your terminal. So make sure you get 5Ghz WiFi support when you purchase your device! For more information also watch our brief Video.

Forwarding Services & Container

Please remember that it is not allowed to operate your own cranes or fork lifts at the exhibition centre. Forklifts, containers and other heavy equipment can be ordered from a trade fair exporter and should be reserved as early as possible to secure loading appointments and prevent long wait times. The order deadline is 05 June 2019.

Waste / Disposal

It not only saves time – it also simplifies your pre-sorting: allow the experts to take care of your waste disposal. At the beginning of the trade fair, you will receive wastebasket liner sets in different colours that support effective waste separation. The service partners pick up your recyclables every day after the trade fair closes.

Friendly and experienced stand staff can be provided direct from our service partner. Should you require assistance with assembly and dismantling please remember to register your requirements with us by 05 June.
