During a visit to the Ferrari complex in Italy, the editorial team encounters an impressive synthesis of industrial precision and aesthetic standards. During a tour of the production facilities, the team repeatedly encounters innovative design elements and unexpected technical details.

Milestone: Laempe delivers 3D printing line to BMW and begins rollout of 3D sand printers

Six 3D sand printers, along with peripherals, have been successfully delivered and accepted by the BMW Group foundry in Landshut. Laempe enters the additive manufacturing sector with its proprietary 3D printing solutions.

Tilt casting: Metal foundry Brückner expands into new markets

The Metal Foundry Brückner, headquartered in East Thuringia, approached Kurtz Casting Solutions with a special request. Brückner, which has decades of experience in gravity casting, needed more precise filling and maximum quality, following a customer inquiry. Kurtz Ersa supplied Brückner with the right solution via a tiltable casting machine.
