The end of the year awaits with developments from the industry that show that innovation and progress go hand in hand. Award for FRECH for the use of Vacural® die-casting process to produce complex lightweight components

A new methodology in the design of an ultra-lightweight gearbox cover for the electric powertrain of a passenger car has been realized. Using an improved Vacural® die casting process from FRECH, the quality of the casting was increased, and an additional weight reduction of 34 percent was achieved.

Launch of new factory in Ciudad Juárez

The opening of the new production facility of Kurtz Ersa Manufacturing México S.A.DE C.V. in Ciudad Juárez is an important step for the company and the Chihuahua region.

Establishing new standards in tap manufacturing

By transporting two standard molds per manipulator, the LPDC2121 Pro sets new standards in the production of bathroom fittings, which is a significant improvement over already existing machines in the industry.

GIFA Mexico 2024 celebrates successful debut: record international attendance and enthusiasm in the exhibition halls make for global appeal

The debut of GIFA Mexico, held in parallel with the long-established FUNDIEXPO at the Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City from 16 to 18 October 2024, drew to a close as a resounding success attracting over 4,700 trade visitors from Mexico, other Latin American countries, the USA and Canada. As a new trade fair in Messe Düsseldorf’s “Bright World of Metals” portfolio, GIFA Mexico has thus set new standards for the foundry sector in Latin America. At the request of the industry the next GIFA Mexico/FUNDIEXPO will be held from 28 to 30 October 2026 in Monterrey (Northern Mexico).
