2G Energy signs CHP framework supply agreement with Centrica Business Solutions

2G Energy AG, one of the leading international manufacturers of gas-fired combined heat and power (CHP) plants, signed a framework supply agreement with Centrica Business Solutions UK Ltd. 

The expansion of the international partner network has been one of the main pillars in the strategic orientation of 2G Energy AG for years. In Centrica Business Solutions UK, another important partner has now been acquired. 

"The British company is thus responding to the growing demand for integrated hydrogen solutions, which are also the key to decarbonizing the energy supply in the UK," says CTO Frank Grewe. 

International sales 

Centrica Business Solutions will offer 2G's CHP systems in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and Italy. The partnership with 2G will also enable Centrica to gain a foothold in the growing renewable gas market. For Greg McKenna, Managing Director of Centrica Business Solutions, the partnership reflects the general trend towards reducing emissions.
