Chemische Fabrik Budenheim KG and Imerys Graphite & Carbon Ltd., a company of Imerys S.A., had signed an agreement to transfer certain activities related to Imerys’ Hot Metal Forming business on December 17, 2015. The agreement covers the lubricants and descaling agents marketed under the Rollit brand. To ensure product deliveries without any interruption Imerys will continue to supply related products to Budenheim for a transitional period. Afterwards Budenheim will serve the markets out of its global production facilities.

It will combine the strengths of both product portfolios in offering best-in-class mandrel bar lubricants and descaling agents.
