In June 2026, Laempe Mössner Sinto GmbH will host its first-ever “Open Week,” welcoming customers, partners, and industry experts to its Meitzendorf facility. The event will offer a comprehensive look at the company’s latest technologies and production solutions.
Taking place from June 22 to 26, the “Open Week” is designed to highlight how Laempe continues to evolve with modern industrial demands. A key focus will be the presentation of next-generation 3D printing systems for industrial core production. Visitors can expect hands-on demonstrations, guided tours through the facility, and in-depth technical exchanges with specialists.
The official public day is scheduled for June 23, when members of the press as well as political guests will also attend. For the rest of the week, access will primarily be reserved for business partners, existing customers, and emerging professionals entering the field.
Beyond additive manufacturing, Laempe will use the event to showcase its broader portfolio. This includes established core manufacturing technologies, automated production solutions, and fully integrated process systems. The goal is to provide a clear overview of how the company connects traditional expertise with innovative manufacturing approaches.
Opportunities at the “Open Week”
André Klimm, Managing Director of Laempe Mössner Sinto GmbH, emphasizes the importance of the upcoming “Open Week” as a platform to present the company’s latest developments in industrial 3D printing on a broader stage.
“With Open Week, we are showcasing our current development work in 3D printing on a larger scale for the first time. What matters most to us is that we aren’t just talking about potential but demonstrating concrete applications that work in an industrial setting,” he explained.
A central highlight of the event will be the company’s in-house developed 3D printer, the L3D-200. This system builds on technologies already in operation at companies such as Inacore and the BMW Group. Among bidirectional 3D printing systems, it is currently regarded as one of the fastest and most adaptable solutions for industrial use.
The L3D-200 is specifically designed to meet the demands of the foundry sector. Key priorities include seamless integration into existing production environments, high productivity, and stable, reliable process performance.
Market feedback has been very positive so far. Several units have already been delivered, while additional projects are currently being implemented. This growing demand highlights the increasing role of 3D printing as a dependable solution for industrial manufacturing.
During “Open Week,” Laempe will also underline its position as a comprehensive partner for the foundry industry, offering solutions across the full spectrum of core production. Visitors will not only see individual technologies, but also gain practical insight into how modern core manufacturing processes are applied in real production environments.
Rudolf Wintgens Steps into Advisory Role
In connection with the announcement of the upcoming “Open Week,” Laempe Mössner Sinto GmbH has also revealed an important change within its executive structure.
Rudolf Wintgens will step down from his position on the Executive Board effective April 1, 2026. Moving forward, he will remain closely associated with the company in the role of Executive Advisor.
In this capacity, Wintgens will focus on supporting Laempe in international customer projects, strategic initiatives, and technically demanding engineering assignments. The new role is intended to make targeted use of his long-standing experience and deep technical knowledge.
Wintgens has been part of Laempe since 2009 and has significantly contributed to a range of technological advancements during his tenure. This includes key developments in the field of industrial 3D printing, where his expertise has helped shape several important projects.
According to Managing Partner Andreas Mössner, the transition reflects both appreciation and strategic intent: “Rudolf Wintgens has shaped Laempe over many years with technical expertise, strategic clarity, and great commitment. We are extremely grateful to him for his contribution to the development of our company,” he emphasized.
