Omega Sinto Foundry Machinery, a leading supplier in the foundry industry, celebrated its 40th anniversary. Many international guests gathered near Peterborough to congratulate this dynamic and innovative company, known for its strong leadership and outstanding hospitality. The celebrations highlighted the long history of success and global reach of Omega Sinto, characterized by continuous innovation and excellent service. Employees and guests from around the world came together to mark this milestone in the company’s history.
Founded in 1984 through a management buyout from Baker Perkins, Omega Sinto has continuously evolved on a global scale. Today, it offers an impressive portfolio with an extensive product range, including state-of-the-art sand mixers, mold handling equipment, core making machines, shakeout equipment, sand reclamation systems, and coating plants.
"I have personally spoken with more than 3,000 foundries,"
says Mark Fenyes. In his witty speech during the anniversary celebrations, Managing Director Mark Fenyes spoke about the efforts and successes of the past 40 years. He mentioned that around 6,000 mixers, 4,300 sand reclamation units, 1,400 molding systems, and numerous other machines have been sold and installed. Fenyes has personally traveled over 3.2 million air miles and spoken with about 3,000 foundries. The factory's achievements are impressive, and Mark Fenyes rightfully expressed pride in his employees and partners.
The remarkable growth of the company is underscored by its strategic global partnerships. In 2001, Tinker Omega LLC was founded to serve the North American and Mexican markets. This was followed by the establishment of Omega Sane Foundry Machinery PVT Ltd in 2009, extending the company’s reach in India, and the acquisition of Richards Engineering by Omega. The formation of ENDECO Omega (PTY) Ltd in 2015 marked Omega's expansion into South Africa, while the acquisition of Omega Tecnostudio SRL in Italy in the same year enhanced the company’s design capabilities. Collaboration with the Japanese company Sintokogio in 2018 further cemented Omega Sinto’s global presence, leading to the formation of Omega Sinto Foundry Machinery Ltd.
Collaboration with Sintokogio since 2018 has strengthened the global presence.
Both Mark Fenyes and Sinto CEO Atchi Nagai spoke highly of the partnership, which has effectively utilized and strengthened the synergies between the companies. "Those who dance and drink together can also think together," as Atchi Nagai aptly put it, highlighting the impressive collaboration.
