As of 1 October 2023, the Siempelkamp Group has undergone a realignment. The group now has a newly established management board made up of seven members, bringing core competencies in the market together and implementing a modern leadership concept. The aims of the new Siemelkamp Management Board are profitable growth in existing and new markets, agile and lean processes for the entire group, and more effective harnessing of synergies.
Group CEO Martin Scherrer will be supported by several chief officers, each of whom will be leading a newly formed business unit. Companies with similar areas of specialisation will be grouped together in these business units, allowing them to serve their target markets even more effectively. The leadership team includes Samiron Mondal, Stefan Wissing, Dirk Howe, Martin Sieringhaus (chief financial officer), Stefan Ziemes (head of human resources) and Axel Baumeister (chief technical officer).
Modern company management requires additional core competencies, which are now represented on the new management board. In addition to finance and controlling, a strategic focus in human resources is crucially important in the contemporary economy. This includes modern personnel development, targeted talent management and consistent succession planning. For a technology company such as Siempelkamp, it is also essential that the technological vision is driven forward at the top management level and that the business profile is strengthened in the area of research and development.
“Leading a company successfully into the future requires different perspectives and strengths to be brought together. In the 140th year of our company’s history, we are making our business more modern, more efficient and closer to our customers, making it more powerful than ever. We are looking forward to the work that we will now be taking on together – so that we can be even better at meeting the requirements of our customers, partners and employees going forward,” says Scherrer.
