One of the first and most decisive measures was the harmonization of the product range. The range of blast turbines has been grouped into three clearly defined product families, and the machine range is currently being restructured into eight distinct machine families, comprising 34 machine types. This was not a reduction in capabilities, but rather a reorganization of them. A clear application logic and value propositions now make it easier to guide customers, while internally enabling faster quoting processes, more efficiency in engineering, streamlined manufacturing and enhanced digital integration.
It is essential to note that this standardization has not been carried out at the expense of customization. By standardizing platforms, architectures, and engineering logic, Wheelabrator has created a solid and scalable foundation, while maintaining full flexibility in terms of applications. Process parameters, wear protection concepts, automation, abrasive strategies, and digital integration can be adapted at any time to meet specific customer needs. The result is a balance between reliability and individuality: standardized where it enhances efficiency, customized where it improves performance.
