The surface processing of cast parts determines their future look as well as their functionality and their length of service. A careful blasting process removes moulding sand residue as well as burrs. The right blasting concept ensures a high-quality finished product.
At GIFA, the company AGTOS from Emsdetten, Germany uses practical examples to demonstrate what is most important when cleaning cast parts and how to produce a good surface. Aside from aspects of processing, the company will focus on the issues of sustainability, energy efficiency and economic viability. With Smart Monitoring, the company presents a compact system for visualising process data. This allows customers to maintain an overview of all core data of the blasting process.
At their booth at the trade fair, AGTOS will also feature their services with regard to storage and delivery, installation of spare and wearing parts as well as maintenance, repair and modernisation work. In addition, employees will be available for questions concerning the modernisation of systems (retrofit) and increase of performance (efficiency).
AGTOS operates in two locations in Europe. At their headquarters in Emsdetten, they develop concepts and constructions for airless blast systems. The Polish site in Konin is home to the company’s manufacturing. Apart from new systems, AGTOS also offers used blast systems.
