The WFO FOUNDRY young researchers and early career

As of 1 January 2023, DI Christa Zengerer has taken over the management of the ÖGI. She succeeds DI Gerhard Schindelbacher.

Gerhard Schindelbacher, who has been working at the Institute for 37 years, 25 of them in a leading position. In a transitional phase, Gerhard Schindelbacher will continue as deputy director until the end of April 2023.

With Christa Zengerer, a very experienced and competent woman takes over the management at the ÖGI. She has built up a large network in her functions as a board member of a leading global supplier to the mobility industry and as managing director of ACstyria Mobilitätscluster GmbH, which will also be an important pillar in her new function. Furthermore in addition to her professional experience, she also brings with her a professionally profound education and relevant knowledge in the mobility industry.
