Technology cooperation with GEA Process (Denmark) for flue gas cleaning system in India

GEA Denmark has successfully commissioned around 600 flue gas cleaning systems for WTE plants worldwide using this technology. TECHFLOW (India) and GEA (Denmark) have now teamed up and signed a licensing agreement to use the SDA cleaning technology in India for future waste-to-energy projects.

Spray Dry Absorption - the unique application of spray drying technology to absorb acid gases - was originally invented by GEA in the 1970s. Each spray drying absorption process is tailored to the customer's requirements as well as applicable environmental regulations. The absorbers have proven system features, such as peak control and activated carbon injection, designed to ensure low mercury and dioxin emissions.
