Management board welcomes another director

At shot-blasting machine manufacturer AGTOS in Emsdetten, Andreas Bügener is now supporting the company as a second managing director. Managing director Antonius Heitmann recently introduced Andreas Bügener at a works meeting at the company’s headquarters in Emsdetten, in the presence of the shareholders and the employees. From the company’s point of view, customers, suppliers and other business partners will profit from the additional support, since this guarantees the continuation of the close cooperation into the future.

The mechanical engineering company founded in 2001 has already been preparing a secure future for several years. At the headquarters in Emsdetten and at the production plant in Konin in Poland, investments were made into the infrastructure of buildings and an ERP system was introduced that covers all sites. This made it possible for the company to implement changes to their processes and to prepare for future tasks by restructuring their staff. Expanding the management board is the next logical step.

Andreas Bügener has local roots and a technical background, as well as several years of experience in sales and project management. Before, Bügener worked in management for the Belgian subsidiary of a large, international corporate group.

The new managing director is focused on developing the company and regards the issues of digitalisation, sustainability and customer retention as essential parts of the future strategy.
