Changes in leadership at ArcelorMittal in Duisburg. From January 1, 2024, Dr. Cem Kurutas new CEO of the ArcelorMittal plant in Duisburg. Dr. Kurutas succeeds Paul Tetteroo, who will take up a new role at ArcelorMittal in Luxembourg on September 1, 2023 after nine years at the helm of the Duisburg plant. Dr. Uwe Braun, managing director of the Duisburg plant and CEO of the Hamburg ArcelorMittal plant, will also manage the Duisburg location until the end of the year.
“The position at ArcelorMittal Duisburg comes at an exciting time. I look forward to setting the course for the future of the plant together with my colleagues in Duisburg and the group,” says Dr. Cem Kurutas.
Dr. Kurutas began his professional career in 2007 and has since worked in various companies. Most recently, he was Vice President Operations at Outokumpu Nirosta in Germany.
