In order to optimize competencies and further strengthen service for its customers, Swisslog has decided to adapt its regional structure. With around 1,000 employees, the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa) will blend synergies from the existing two European regions. The move will strengthen cross-border use of competencies and, at the same time, strengthen customer proximity through local structures.
Swisslog's new EMEA region is operational from 1 September 2020 and headed by Dr. Antonio Trioschi. Antonio has been with Swisslog for many years already and was previously responsible for its Greater Europe region. He has extensive management experience in intralogistics, corporate development, and the implementation of international change projects. Daniel Hauser, who was previously responsible for Swisslog’s Central Europe & Middle East region, will take on new challenges within the company.
