Sand Moulds

Texer design cooperate with the German company Voxeljet leader in production of sand cores and mold packages for casting directly from CAD-dataset. Especially cast parts in small batch sizes are very popular.

In the past, it used to be mainly automotive manufacturers and suppliers that required very small quantities of metal cast assemblies and components for testing and prototype manufacture. 3D printing was discovered as a superior technology for producing the required sand cores and molds.

Metal Prototypes

Through the SLM technology we produce and supply metal prototypes with the same mechanical proprieties as pieces obtained using traditional processes. The worth of our method is the rapid manufacturing of unique pieces and the reduction costs for small batch production.

The use of different types of steel found applications in important sectors such as medical, racing, energy and wherever a specialized small production is needed.

Casted Parts

Texer design in partnership with voxeljet manufacture castings from CAD-data. By drawing on voxeljet’s patternless mold-making competence, this new approach saves time and money.

Together with the metallurgical and casting know-how provided by selected partners, we are able to offer uniquely effective range of services.

About us

Company details

Texer Design has been a service company with a strong background in mold and mechanical design since 2004. Our staff is trained to solve most of the thermo-related issues in molding.
We installed the first selective laser melting (SLM) machine in Italy in 2007.
Texer Design builds and supply tool inserts with conformal cooling for plastic injection and light metal diecasting. The main benefits are the cycle time reduction and the improvement of aesthetic quality and dimensional characteristics of final products.
Moreover we provide metal prototypes in a single piece or small series with the same mechanical properties of traditional process.
