About us

Company details

The KERAMTECH, Ltd. Žacléř firm is among the leading manufacturer of technical and foundry ceramics with an uninterrupted tradition of manufacturing since 1878.

Its largest product range today includes ceramic filters for filtration of molten iron and non-ferrous metals. We produce ceramic filters made from Pyrostat material, designed for filtering grey cast iron, ductile iron, bronze, and other non-ferrous metals. For filtration of carbon and stainless steel, we offer ceramic filters made from RK5 material, which is based on Al2O3. We have a specially developed lightweight ceramic material with the trade name Pyral 15® for filtering aluminium alloys. Moulded ceramic strainers that partially serve as filters comprise a special category and they continue play their crucial role in the casting system. Termosond (thermal probe) ceramic heads are then applied in foundries and steel mills.

Our company has its own design department and tool shop; custom-fit orders based on customer demands are therefore not a problem. Our philosophy is quality, speed, flexibility, and foremost a satisfied customer.
