About us

Company details

Since 40 years PROCESS-ELECTRONIC specialises in the development, production, and set-up of atmosphere controls, process controls, plant management and plant automation systems. Consequently we have a wide spread experience in all aspects of metal heat treating.

As a working member in various materials and heat processing committees, PROCESS-ELECTRONIC has always been on the leading edge of processing and automation techniques.

Our commitment to quality ensures a continuous process in the development of our products in terms of reliability and the ability to deal with the upcoming requirements of new technologies.

History:

Founded in 1974, Process-Electronic Analyse- und Regelgeräte GmbH specialised in the development of oxygen probes and measuring and control devices in combustion and heat treating atmospheres.

The development of a mathematical model to predict carbon diffusion into steel, later extended to also predict final hardness profile, enabled a, that time revolutionary new product line of process computers and already in 1986 PE had a wide range of fully automated furnace lines controlled by our systems.

In 2004 PROCESS-ELECTRONIC entered into a partnership with Nitrex Metal Inc., a leading supplier of advanced potential controlled nitriding and nitrocarburizing technologies as well as integrated turnkey installations, now major shareholder in PE.

Group:

Acquisitions in North America and the foundation of PROCESS-ELECTRONIC Poland lead to creating the internationally active United Process Controls Group in 2007, with sites in the US,Canada, Europe and China as well as a network of affiliated companies throughout the world.

Cooperation and joint:

Since the very beginnings PROCESS-ELECTRONIC has been in close contact with universities and institutes in order to continuously improve its products. Namely the cooperation with the IWT Stiftung Institut für Werkstofftechnik is an extraordinary valuable source for a better understanding of our customers’ needs.

Product range:

PROCESS-ELECTRONIC manufactures oxygen probes, hydrogen sensors, temperature and atmosphere controllers, programmable controllers as well as gas and electrical panels and cabinets and all related software for simulation, automation and process control.

Oxygen and Hydrogen probes and IR and dewpoint analysers for the metalworking industry (steel production, automotive, gears, bearings or commercial heat treaters) as well as high temperature applications (glass-kilns, ceramic firing, cement, lime, gypsum) and environmental technology.

Electronic measuring and control systems for all kinds of heat treatment installations. Process control and data processing systems, automation technology, quality assurance and commercial software systems.

Consulting, training and maintenance services.
