Product category: Continuous casting moulds

Continuous casting

We produce graphite casting dies for manufacturing semi-finished products from non-ferrous metals, precious metals and gray cast iron using the continuous casting process.
Our product range for foundry technology also includes crucibles and sealing plugs for holding furnaces. We have designed a graphite crucible with strip or wire die specifically for the continuous casting of precious metals.

Schunk graphite dies feature material properties such as:
• mechanical stability at high temperatures
• no reaction with the molten metal
• no contamination of the molten metal
