SCHEUERLE InterCombi SPE - low, wide, strong
SCHEUERLE InterCombi SPE combination transporters are available with four or six axles. The energy for the hydrostatically driven and electronically controlled transporters is supplied by a power-pack unit. All sorts of driving manoeuvers can be carried out with the steering programmes All-wheel steering along and cross, Diagonal steering along and cross, Front-wheel and rear-wheel steering and Circle steering, with a single vehicle as well as in coupling mode. The InterCombi SPE of course can also be coupled with platform transporters from the InterCombi programme. Same height, same width, same couplings – the InterCombi SPE is the economic supplement in order to create self-propelled transporter units with the existing InterCombi vehicles. The required modifications on the existing InterCombi fleets can be carried out easily and fast. The InterCombi SPE comes with the new "STEPS.3-control technology" (SCHEUERLE-Transport Electronic Processor Systems 3rd Generation). This 3rd generation covers all further developments in the vehicle field and ensures compatibility with the previous modular transporter generations. With this, SCHEUERLE offers reliable control technology for the specific requirements in heavy-duty transportation, which synchronises all functions between the individual vehicle entities.

The transportation of ladles of molten steel places high demands on both man and machine.
SCHEUERLE's ladle transporters are eminently suited to this task. The safe handling of ladles weighing up to 400 tonnes is guaranteed to the utmost extent by the vehicle design.
The ladle is set down in the centre of the transporter on a low bed which can be hydraulically lowered to the ground for crane loading. The driver's cabin is protected at both ends by extensive safety features. Despite its size, the transporter can be manoeuvered simply and easily from the cabin. Thanks to its steered pendulum axles and hydraulic axle compensation, which compensate for uneven ground, every desired position can be attained.
This flexibility considerably increases the capabilities of the transporter as compared to conventional systems and renders it particularly cost-effective.
