Weldstone is a member of the German based IBG-Group. Over the last 30 years, IBG and their 50 international affiliated companies have gained leading positions in the fields of welding, tungsten and ceramic components, as well as in the construction chemicals. Currently the group employs more than 2.000 people around the world.
Weldstone grew rapidly from a mid size tungsten electrode production company to the market leader in TIG-electrodes and expanded the business scopes to other tungsten related markets such as tungsten heavy metal, tungsten copper and special tungsten alloys.
Today, Weldstone is one of the leading producers of tungsten products and serves the most demanding industries such as automotive, aerospace, measuring devices and others. Weldstone is currently expanding its global customer service network. The Weldstone Group already has distribution locations in the USA, Europe and Asia and also provides great local customer service.
Weldstone is able to control the entire production processes, starting from raw materials APT or tungsten powder, until the finished product.
Due to the result of the continuous growth and development efforts, Weldstone just opened its new state-of-the-art 12,000 m² (129,000ft²) tungsten production facilities equipped with the latest production, machining, and measuring equipment available today.
To provide the best service to its clients, Weldstone set up a global network of international experts who provide knowledgeable solutions and customer service.
In April 2014, the latest acquisition has just been executed by the IBG's USA tungsten expert team, Astaras, Inc, a Weldstone Sister Company. Astaras, Inc bought the entire Anviloy® Tungsten business from CMW International, Inc.
This means Anviloy® Tungsten Products are now manufactured and sold by the Weldstone Group. In North and South America the Anviloy® Tungsten Products are available at Astaras, Inc. in Florida. For European customers Anviloy® Tungsten Products are available at Weldstone in Germany.
This is another important step for the Weldstone Group in strengthening its leading position in the tungsten world.
