Our products

Product category: Scrap, scrap iron

1010 washed punchings

Our washed 1010 punchings can be used as; a melting base for iron, low alloy steels and stainless steels, a free flowing coolant, and cover. This material is segregated according to grade, size, and density. Our large inventory allows us to offer form, sizing, and chemistry options to meet your melting requirements. The high density and cleanliness of our material reduces smoke and allows for fewer inclusions and less porosity, and our washing and drying process ensures material is free of all contamination. Allied Metals guarantees product chemistry to our customers’ specifications. AISI 1006/1010 (EN DIN C6/C10) and 1018/1020 (EN DIN C15/C20) are also available upon request.

Stainless-steel

Allied Metals is the North American leader and one of the globally leading companies in stainless steel melt stock for induction foundries. We ship in excess of 1,000 tons per month of the highest quality stainless steel plate and bar stock. Every plate and bar is checked for chemical conformance, then processed per the customer’s specifications. Our product is an economical alternative to building your own alloys using virgin materials or costly pre-alloyed ingots.

Our large volume enables us to offer prompt delivery for most grades, including low carbon grades, in whatever form the customer prefers. We are uniquely positioned to supply both guaranteed chemistry plate and bar stock, as well as certified to heat materials. We service requirements from 1,000 lbs (500 kg) to multiple truckloads or containers. Allied Metals can ship multiple grades in a single shipment, shot blast, and even offer unprepared material if required. Our consistent availability and competitive pricing enable us to support customers anywhere in the world.
