The company Raffineria Metalli Guizzi S.p.A produces ingots in copper-based alloys – tin bronze, aluminium bronze, manganese bronze and special alloys.
The production cycle starts off with the supplying of scraps which originate from other production wastes, dismantling of plants and raw materials.
After an accurate control, they are mixed in the right proportions and melted in the furnace to create the alloy according to the chemical analysis and mechanical specs.
The standardization and the constant control of every single process, as the continue research of innovative methods allow RMG to realize products with a high quality, both regarding the refinery of the metals and the respect of the analytical standards.
Thanks to an internal well-advanced analytical lab, RMG is able to keep under, in an analytical way, the whole manufacturing process: from the control of the incoming raw material to the check of the analytical composition of the final product.
The meticulous control of every single phase of the manufacturing process and the methodic attention to the qualitative aspect, allowed RMG to get since 1995 the certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 concerning the management of the quality. Furthermore, the attention to the respect of the environment and of the rules, as well as a constant innovation of the manufacturing plant let RMG get the certification UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 for its system of environmental management, and also the authorization AIA (IPPC) for the activity of recycling metals in January 2006: RMG was among the firsts who got it.
