Dual Sef :  latest technology controller, inverter, data logger, granular flux addition, ladle position sensor, Long Life Silicon carbide shaft and rotor. The unit is programmable to operate on different capacity ladles from 200 up to 1500 kg capacity of Aluminium.
The cycle is programmable for different alloys and easy to operate. It is completely automatic and there is no need for the operator to be present. The addition of drossing flux in granular form will generate a cleaner melt, free from oxides and a dry dross will remain on the top of the melt.This unit guarantees a consistent reduction in flux consumption and a optimization in saving on shaft/rotors costs.

The unit has been designed and constructed for Aluminium foundries operating with rotary degassing treatment. The controlled rotation of a graphite and/or Silicon Carbide shaft and impeller distributes a stream of micronized Nitrogen  (or Argon)  bubbles which will eliminate prosities and force to surface all impurities and oxides. Automatic flux addition dispenser and twisting paddle available on request. Unit can be easily transported by fork lift or crane.

The Aluxal  and Aluclean fluxes act, during melting operations, as protecting coves of the charge reducing oxidation of the metal and Hydrogen pick-up. The fluxes also remove and dissolve non metallic inclusions. The drosses floating on the bath surface have therefore lower metal content and are easier to remove. Life of crucible and refractories increases. Purity of metals will be  with high quality standard  .
Modifying fluxes, Sodium based, have various compositions to please temperature  and alloy . The modification treatment, recommended for Aluminium-Silicon alloys, increases the physical properties like elongation, ductility and  tensile strength. The introduction of Sodium into the metal reduces the coarse crystals of Silicon into fine globular  structures.
The Aluxal and Aluclaean range includes:
• covering, scorifying, drossing off fluxes for Aluminium alloys melted in crucible furnaces, or baled out from the side port  of  radiant  and reverberatory furnaces
• “Sodium free” cleansing, protecting, drossing-off fluxes for Aluminium-Magnesium  and high Silicon alloys
• refining, covering, drossing-off fluxes for  reverberatory melting furnaces
• modifying fluxes for the metallurgical treatment of eutectic Aluminium alloys containing 9-13% Silicon

Crystal  is produced in granular form and has an improved formulation to perform effective covering and drossing on molten aluminium alloys. The product is normally recommended for melts standing in melting furnace, in transport ladles or during rotor degassing in ladles and crucibles. The formulation is based on inorganic and natural blended salts. This gives no fumes, no burning drosses and other risks during handling and use. The flux is not suitable for those alloys not tolerating the presence of sodium.

The Metalcote range consists of products especially formulated to protect the machines faces of dies and cores. The types with insulating properties are recommended to control solidification of the casing, to give smooth or rough surface finish and to facilitate die operation. The types with lubricating properties are recommended and used to lubricate the die mechanisms, slides and core prints. Water suspended graphite lubricants are sometime applied on top of an insulating dressing to assist release of tight casting and cores. The Metalcote range, being water based, is completely safe and is formulated to provide effective performances in difficult environments. The Metalcote range includes:                                   

• insulating dressing types
• heat conductive types
• coatings for low pressure dies
• protective coatings

Special fluxes intended for degassing aluminum and its alloys. Plunged in the metal bath, they produce an energetic chemical reaction that eliminates the hydrogen present in the metal. Some types of Elidron combine the degassing action with a marked refining action of the grains. They are packaged in tablets in different weights.

Special preparations to give a push to refine the grains of Aluminum and its alloys. Their action is due to Boron and Titanium, elements that have shown to have a remarkable refining action on Aluminum. The Aluminum and its alloys treated with Germinal undergo a notable improvement in the mechanical characteristics and resist much better to high pressures.
