Nature moulding sand BF
Nature moulding sand BF 1 is excavated around Bottrop and it is characterized by its fine granularity and its clay content. Application: Nature moulding sand BF 1 is used to produce molds with very fine surfaces. Propierties: Nature moulding sand BF 1 is moist packed as mined. Because this is an untreated natural product, it may have accumulations of silt and clay substances which should be sorted out if necessary in the application. A treatment or homogenization in the circuit of mixers or form sandslinger is recommended.

Konfix ▪ water based coatings offer a large variety of application areas. They are combinations of refractory raw materials, rheology- and binding agents that exert their special potentials at the specific requirements of the foundries. Primarily, they are used for sand moulds and cores and usually dried in the oven.
Konsil ▪ alcohol based coatings manufactured on the basis of solvents and offer a wide variety of application areas. Combinations of refractory raw materials, rheology- and binding agents which develop their extraordinary potentials for specific requirements in foundries. Primarily, they are used for sand moulds and cores and usually dried by burning or flashing off.
Kontool ▪ die coatings have a wide variety of application areas. Combinations of refractory raw materials, rheology- and binding agents that exert their extraordinary potentials for specific requirements in the gravity die casting.
OBB-sand "A 25" is a pure bentonite-water-bound, environmentally friendly moulding sand. It distinguishes itself from other molding sands by its much finer grain composition. Because of this fineness and its specific binding, it can be processed very well and achieved into high green compression strength, which will result in contour constancy and dimensionally accurate castings with high surface quality.
O.B.B.-Sand "A 25" is primarily used in industrial and art casting (all types of castings) are used with polished and machined surfaces. Replacing in many applications the dry mould and ceramic investment casting process.
O.B.B.-Sand "A 25" is used as circulating sand or facing sand for the partial improvement of the surfaces. The use in circulating systems with green sand is easily possible.

Dikaflex is used in the moulding and core shop, particularly in steel- and iron-foundries as well as in the non-ferrous metal casting. With Dikaflex sealing strips separating gaps of moulds and cores from all mould materials are sealed. Further applications are the sealing of chill mould or cover ladle in foundries and steel mills.
Dikaflex does not harden. Dikaflex dried by the high temperature of the metal and the moulds, disintegrates completely and leaves no harmful residue in the sand.
