Industry-leading results for the selective application of zinc or aluminium on continuously processed steel strip DUMA-BANDZINK galvanizing and aluminising systems are characterized by outstanding coating results using a minimum of Zn/Al layers. Moreover, the equipment is robust in service and easy in maintenance and handling.
DUMA-BANDZINK equipment offers zinc coating from 30 to 350 g/sqm with highest surface uniformity on products such as GI, GA, Galfan, Galvalume and high-quality ALSi surfaces. Our equipment is designed for high speeds of up to 200 meters per minute or even more via continuous development.

Perfect stiffness and rotational stability are the key to outstanding coating results. DUMA-BANDZINK pot equipment is designed in maximum rigidity so that any form of distortion on the bearing seat is avoided. Thus, vibrations and zinc coating deviations are drastically minimized. In addition to further positive effects, a significantly measurable advantage in comparison to competitors assures our pot equipment when producing exposed automotive strip grades or advanced high-strength steel grades (AHSS). Our new Generation II rigs and arms are individually optimized for each line and roll position in relation to the resulting forces.

Conventional manual feeding of zinc ingots via chain system implies increased safety risks for the operating staff. The new zinc ingot charging system of DUMA-BANDZINK is highly efficient and operates automatically and inexpensive. The system is designed for zinc ingots of 1,000 respectively 2,000 kgs. 2 types are offered for custom-made operation:

Both types are designed to reduce bath turbulences to a minimum.
Without considering the type, the melt bath level is kept almost constant. By this, possible bath turbulences are minimized.
