The new range of innovatory temperature control units of the Greencasting series
gives Green Box a leading role in the world of the aluminium die-casting.

The complete control of the temperature of the die-casting moulds is granted by the
innovative design of the new Greencasting series.
The completely new cooling system (patent pending) reduces to minimum the electrical energy consumption.
The process is completely controlled by a PLC, including a flow test system to check the mould circuits.

Shell casting temperature control unit Green Shell
The Green Shell temperature control unit is the ideal solution for the mould cooling in the low pressure/shell casting applications.
The Green Shell is a water unit with maximum operating temperature of 90°C.

The high flow grants a good cooling effect also in moulds having temperature of 400° – 500°C. The pump flow is of 160 litres/minute.

The shell casting temperature control unit is controlled by PLC and the interface with the press is made through digital inlets. The PLC is supplied with Touch Screen display.

It is possible to set the temperature, to store receipts, to read temperatures and pressures.

The temperature controller is supplied with 5 ways manifold, controlled by pneumatic valves.

The manifold must be installed as close as possible to the mould, so that there is one only main delivery pipe between Green Shell and manifold and short hoses with small diameters between manifold and mould.

The Green Shell includes:

– Flow test to check each way to the mould

– Pressurizing test to verify if there is any water loss

– Mould emptying at the end of the production

Microgel is a super-compact mold cooling unit specifically designed for “cycle cooling time reduction”. Combines a water cooled chiller with one or two high flow booster pump temperature controllers with heating elements and a free-cooling valve. casting.
The Frigel group can now offer complete systems for the control of the mold temperatures and for the cooling of the hydraulic circuits for the aluminium casting industry.
The patented Mold Temperature Control units of the Greencasting series work with pressurised water up to 180°C and give excellent results in terms of quality of the products and of minimum electrical energy consumption . Compact dimensions and reduced installed power offer additional advantages in terms of efficiency .
