NPP Technology is a Russian company within NPP Group. The company was founded in 1996. More than 350 enterprises have been permanently cooperating with our company making our products their first choice. We not only produce and sell inoculants added to steels and irons, and equipment used for inoculation processes, but we also assist in developing inoculation methods and techniques. Our specialists have many years of experience in introducing inoculation process innovations at various enterprises and we are happy to share our knowledge with our customers.
Contribution to World Technology
Until 1998, all producers of magnesium-containing inoculants for cast irons worldwide used the traditional process of pouring alloys into molds. The studies conducted in the USSR as far back as the 1980s showed that the conditions for crystallization of molten magnesium-containing inoculants – the cooling rate – significantly influenced their properties: the degree of assimilation of magnesium by the melt, solution rate, pyroeffect and smoke emission during the treatment of molten metals in open ladles. But these studies were not industrially implemented in due time. From its very beginning, NPP Technology has put emphasis on producing inoculants with new properties for irons and steels. Thus, a wide range of microcrystalline "chips inoculants" for various purposes have appeared on the market.
Research and Development
The Company has been constantly conducting research studies with a view to expanding the application of microcrystalline inoculants in foundry, improving its existing product line and studying comprehensively the properties of the inoculants being produced. The Company keeps investing in innovation activities, cooperating with major research and development institutes and laboratories.
Goals and Objectives
The main goal of NPP Technology is to upgrade the quality of inoculating irons and steels to meet customer requirements. We strive to achieve this goal by ensuring the high quality of our products, fulfilling orders in a timely manner, responding quickly to the changing needs of our customers. Our quality assurance system is based on the well proven methods of in-process monitoring and use of modern laboratory equipment. The system has been certified to meet the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008.
