HOT CHAMBER ZINC

Brondolin produces goosenecks for every type of machine and tonnage.
The goosenecks are realised via forged block or on request, by casting and are characterised by a high degree of dimensional stability and resistance to wear and tear and corrosion.
The linings available for goosenecks in both conical and cylindrical versions, ensure optimum plungers sliding and constant injections efficiency.
Accessories include plungers, rings, nozzles, tips and rods.
With the development of a special electric nozzle (European Patent Number 1354650), Brondolin has brought about a decisive improvement in the zinc alloys transformation process. Precise temperature control markedly improves the quality of pressed castings, reducing the percentage of scraps. Other advantages of the nozzle include its reliability and duration, with significantly reduced energy consumption.

Cold chamber

Any type of shot sleeve can be realized, for each machine model and for various tonnages (from 100 to 4000 ton). The range of spare parts for cold chambers is completed by plungers, rods and other accessories. RPH Evo plunger system ( Brondolin European Patent System) represents the most advanced technology for this type of product The system is available for all country world wide. The Company carries out continual research into materials, thermal treatments and technologies which reduce normal deformation, thermal shock and erosion phenomena to which shot sleeves are subject. Of the various solutions developed by Brondolin, the most effective in avoiding such phenomena and the most widely used, is shot sleeve thermoregulation. Applications are now being extended beyond large dimension shot sleeve to include those for small tonnage machines.

HOT CHAMBER MAGNESIUM

The production of spare parts is carried out with specific high quality materials and using thermal treatments that have been specifically developed by Brondolin.
Work conditions (at temperatures between 620°C and 650°C) require particularly high resistance to both abrasion and heat.
For these applications, the goosenecks are realised using the most advanced casting technologies. All the other accessories - plungers, rings, nozzles, tips and rods - are realised by forged bars.
As with the zinc hot chamber, Brondolin’s electric nozzle (European patent N° 1354650) has made it possible to optimise the pressing process. Perfect temperature control also makes it possible to considerably improve the quality of pressed castings, thereby reducing the percentage of scraps.
