Our products

Product category: Shot-blasting abrasives, inorganic, nonmetallic

Aluminium Oxide (AL2O3)

A wide variety of purity grades from 60% up to 99.7% pure of Aluminium oxide are available on the market. Typical grades that are used for modern industrial applications are of high purity from 95% to 99.7% Amongst the various advanced ceramics that exist today, alumina is the most commonly used ceramic materials that has a wide range of properties and a very competitive cost due to high tech of manufacturing techniques.

Silicon Nitride (Si3N4)

Types of silicon nitride materials are as below:

  • Reaction bonded silicon nitride (RBSN)
  • Sintered Silicon Nitrides (SSN)
  • Gas Pressured Sintered Silicon Nitrides (GPS- SSN)
  • High pressured Sintered Silicon Nitride (HPSN)
Reaction bonded silicon nitride is made by direct nitridation of a compacted silicon powder, and because of the difficulty of ensuring complete reaction; it is hard to achieve a high component density.  Usual densities are in the range 2.3 – 2.5g/cm3 compared with up to 3.3g/cm3 for gas and high pressured sintered silicon nitride.

Silicon Carbides (SiC & SiSiC)

Silicon Carbide Ceramics has superior rapid cooling and rapid heating resistance, wear resistance, oxidation resistance, high bending strength, no falling slag, no crazing, have a long time service life, effective to control the uniform temperature inside the kilns and maintains high mechanical strength in temperatures as high as 1700°C. Silicon carbide has excellent hard wearing properties. It is not only the lightest, but also the hardest ceramic material and has excellent thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion and is very resistant to acids and chemicals.

About us

Company details

J A I Engineers UK’s track record is in providing solutions to difficult problems using the most high-tech advanced ceramics precision components and products. We develop, manufacture and supply precision products which required hard wearing, lightweight, non-contaminating, with excellent chemical resistance, good thermal shock and offer enhanced electrical and thermal insulation properties. The company also generates sub-assemblies to ‘plug-in and use’ - offering customers increased productivity and reduced costs.

J A I Pumping Technologies recently working on the development of the “Molten Metal Transportation Dosing System”, fully closed, designed to reduce energy costs up to 50%, eliminate mote then 90% of current scrapes/rejection rates, delivering oxide free molten non-ferrous metals at right time with very accurate volume and very high temperature up to 1000’c, temperature compared with the latest pumping systems on the market. This pump also offers improve safety in the manufacturer and supplier of high-tech advanced ceramics precision components and products.
