Ambient measurements using air quality meters

Air quality meters are used for both ambient measurements and vacuum processes. The instruments made by Bad Bramstedt-based Driesen + Kern work at up to 30 bar and come with a plug-in, all-in-one pressure, humidity and temperature sensor.

Measurements that can be derived from the initial readings, such as wet bulb temperature and dew point, are calculated on the meter itself and provided to the user in real time in both physical and digital format. The integrated RS485 interface with ASCII and Modbus protocols and four configurable analogue outputs allow for flexible integration into monitoring systems or programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The air quality meters can be configured by the user themselves via ASCII or Modbus commands, meaning that they can always be adjusted to take new application conditions and circumstances into account.

Each meter is supplied with a calibration certificate, with the option of either factory calibration in accordance with ISO 9001 or DAkkS calibration in accordance with ISO 17025. The DKP516 meter also comes with a DNV logo and certificate. Thanks to the choice of different designs, the HumiPressureProbe can be used even in highly challenging environments. From the miniature meter for hard-to-reach areas, which is just four millimetres in diameter, to the pressure-resistant screw-in meter for up to 30 bar of positive pressure, the systems can cover a wide variety of applications.
