Modular hydrogen electrolyser

With its modular hydrogen platform (MHP), H-Tec Systems from Augsburg has presented a scalable system to generate green hydrogen for industry. Currently, multiple hydrogen projects have increased companies’ demand for the substance. With MHP, 10-MW blocks can be combined into a complete system with an electrolysis performance of 100 MV and above.

H-Tec Systems sees low hydrogen generating costs with this system, as it has a complete system efficiency of 77 percent and high system availability. The MHP can be installed easily on pre-assembled skids in interior areas. One process water treatment unit and the required electronics are installed in each 10-MW block. In addition, the entire system can be supplemented with fresh water and hydrogen treatment as well as process heat recovery or oxygen use.
