Saving potential using electric furnaces

The TEK by the company Balzer from Bad Schönborn offers 114 kW heating power for an impressive 600 kg crucible. The stable heating power of the furnace is accomplished by the high quality of the crucible and the company's proven heating plates. This improved efficiency is due, among other things, to the insulation and the exact fit of the pneumatic lid.

This construction allows the TEK to compete with gas-fired crucibles. The 114 kW electric heating power allows the TEK to almost completely replace the 300 kg aluminium /h melting power of a gas-fired crucible. Balzer points out that the high demands made by the modern market regarding energy efficiency and environmentally friendly innovation while maintaining the same high quality are easily met. The switch also happens quickly, as all modules can be delivered within three months.
