Simplicity meets excellence
YIZUMI hosted an impressive product launch for its innovative two-plate die-casting machine in Foshan, China. The event attracted a distinguished group of industry leaders, recognised experts, key figures from across the entire industrial supply chain and media representatives, who gathered to witness a transformative moment for the entire die-casting industry.
Recently, rising demands from sectors such as the automotive, telecommunications, energy and industrial automation industries have increased the need for high-pressure die-cast components. This has led to a trend towards larger die-cast components and more complex processes. These evolving requirements have raised the bar for machine manufacturers and accelerated the development of more efficient and precise die-casting technologies.
YIZUMI has always been committed to providing advanced and cost-effective moulding systems and solutions to customers worldwide. With a relentless focus on innovation in die-casting technology, YIZUMI strives to lead the industry’s development.
“The global die-casting market is expected to grow significantly, reaching a volume of over US$100 billion by 2030. High-pressure die-cast components will account for approximately US$60 billion of this market. This growth will be driven primarily by new electric vehicle designs and a stronger focus on sustainability,” said Stefan Fritsche, Deputy General Manager and CSO of YIZUMI’s Die Casting Machine Division, at the product launch. He highlighted the key factors driving market growth and outlined upcoming changes and developments in the die-casting industry.
Stefan emphasised that the introduction of large two-plate die-casting machines represents a significant industry trend. Overcoming these challenges will be crucial in enabling Chinese die-casting manufacturers to achieve new breakthroughs. Against the backdrop of the rapid growth of the new energy vehicle (NEVs), YIZUMI has strategically launched the NEXT² series of 2-plate die-casting machines to meet the growing demand for large-format, high-quality die-cast components, particularly in the production of large structural parts required by OEMs in the new energy sector.
Larry Wang, Director of the Product and Marketing Management Department at YIZUMI’s Die Casting Machine Division, explained that the successful launch of the LEAP series demonstrates that Chinese manufacturers can achieve breakthroughs in core die-casting technologies, which promotes the further globalisation of the Chinese die-casting industry.
Thanks to their robust dynamic injection capabilities, exceptional clamping forces and intelligent operating systems, the LEAP die-casting machines have gained widespread recognition across various industries, including engine blocks, gearbox housings and integrated die-cast components for NEVs. Furthermore, the LEAP series has set new benchmarks in global die-casting technology by ushering in the era of 100G acceleration for die-casting machines. This innovation opens up endless possibilities for the production of lighter and thinner components.
The NEXT² series 2-plate die-casting machine builds on the advanced and proven technological expertise of the LEAP series. It overcomes a number of technical challenges that leading European and American manufacturers have so far been unable to tackle, and may well revitalise the domestic and global die-casting markets.
At the product launch, Han Tao, Product Manager for the 2-plate die-casting machine, highlighted the advantages and value of the NEXT² series.
He explained that YIZUMI is tirelessly committed to developing the world’s best 2-plate die-casting machine. As proof of this claim, the NEXT² series sets new standards in design philosophy, technological innovation, performance and value creation, ushering the entire industry into a new era of two-plate machines.
Han Tao emphasised that the core competitive advantage of the NEXT² series lies in the integration of numerous proprietary technologies that break the historical technological monopoly of leading manufacturers. These breakthroughs deliver unprecedented competitiveness and production efficiency through the pioneering RAPTOR multi-cylinder clamping unit system, the Dolphin intelligence and control system, and the Yi-Cast high-speed injection unit.
The RAPTOR multi-cylinder clamping unit system, an advanced technology developed by YIZUMI and strengthened by the China-Europe Technology Platform, embodies YIZUMI’s commitment to ‘Think Tech Forward’. It effectively addresses challenges such as prolonged clamping times and pressure build-up times, as well as difficulties in opening deep-draw moulds.
The NEXT² series offers exceptionally low energy consumption. By combining the successful LEAP servo system with the Yi-Cast high-speed injection unit and the Dolphin control system, total energy consumption is reduced by an impressive 50 per cent compared to conventional machines. This results in significant savings for customers and underlines YIZUMI’s technological expertise.
By 2030, YIZUMI aims to be among the top five manufacturers of injection moulding machines, the top three in die-casting and the top two in rubber injection moulding machines. With this ambitious vision, YIZUMI is consistently focusing on innovation.
The launch of the NEXT² series marks another breakthrough following the successful introduction of the LEAP series in 2021. This new product underscores YIZUMI’s ability to transform and advance the industry.
During the event, YIZUMI also announced a strategic partnership with Wuxi Langshion Lightweight Technology Co., Ltd. This includes an order for two NEXT² machines (1800T and 3500T models).
Following the unveiling, guests had the opportunity to tour the YIZUMI Ultra-Large Die Casting Machine Factory and the research centre to experience YIZUMI’s technological expertise first-hand.
This convergence of technology and innovation demonstrates that YIZUMI is determined to continue driving die-casting technology forward, breaking new ground and setting new standards.
