Successful debut for GIFA and METEC INDONESIA 2023

With GIFA and METEC INDONESIA, Messe Düsseldorf celebrated a successful debut in Jakarta from 13 to 16 September 2023 as the new leading metallurgy and foundry platform for the emerging Indonesian market. Around 200 exhibitors from 18 countries and more than 4,900 trade visitors from all sectors of the foundry and metallurgy industry attended the events at the JI Expo exhibition centre. Alongside local companies, exhibitors from Italy, Sweden, the USA and Germany, amongst others, travelled to Indonesia.

The trade fair duo impressed with a wide range of machinery, systems and technologies, ranging from additive manufacturing through to foundry machinery, processing plants and new technologies for user industries in various vertical markets – such as the automotive, construction, energy and gas sectors – right through to users in metal and steelworks. In addition, high-calibre seminars and international lecture series on current industry trends provided a forum for discussion and the exchange of experiences amongst experts.
