The quartet of world-leading trade fairs welcomes the international foundry and metallurgical industry back to Düsseldorf in 2027
The new dates for GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST have been confirmed. The industry’s leading international trade fairs will take place from 21 to 25 June 2027 at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. Malte Seifert, Director of GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST at Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, commented: “We are delighted to have secured an early summer date, which has already proven highly successful in the past. The Bright World of Metals is and remains the absolute highlight for the metallurgy and foundry technology sector worldwide.”
The five-day exhibition period and the tried-and-tested weekdays remain unchanged. “The choice of exhibition dates was made in close consultation with our association and conference partners and enables us to once again host the most important marketplace for the international foundry and metallurgical industry in 2027, attracting many visitors from all over the world,” said Malte Seifert.
In the run-up to the next edition of GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST, there will be ongoing coverage of industry trends and market developments on the respective trade fair portals as well as on LinkedIn and Facebook. Furthermore, as part of the ecoMetals initiative, the ongoing developments within companies relating to sustainability, energy and resource efficiency, decarbonisation and the circular economy in the foundry and metallurgical industries will also be highlighted in the years between trade fairs.

Über die Bright World of Metals: Die Bright World of Metals mit ihren Fachmessen GIFA (16. Internationale Gießerei-Fachmesse mit Technical Forum), METEC (12. Internationale Metallurgie-Fachmesse mit Kongressen), THERMPROCESS (14. Internationale Fachmesse und Symposium für Thermoprozesstechnik) und NEWCAST (7.
